Trivia Returns
Twitter Trivia is returning on Tuesdays between 4PM-5PM starting on November 4, 2014.
Since 4:00 trivia has been so popular in the past, I’m going to resurrect the monthly trivia contest with prizes featuring a lot of stuff I get from all over the hockey globe.
So with contests, you have to establish rules. Here they are:
1. Tuesdays starting at 4:00PM, I will ask 10 hockey questions on my Twitter account (@MichelleKenneth). The first person that responds to me with the correct answer receives a point.
2. A chart will be listed on a separate page on this blog with the point rankings for each person who responded with the correct answer first. The person with the most points at the end of the month receives that month’s prize.
3. Prizes include hockey books, NHL merchandise, team giveaways (you may have missed), autographed memorabilia, and a few items I’ve picked up along my journey covering the NHL.
4. If you are the winner for that month, I will notify you and you will need to send your mailing address to: mkenneth@insidehockey.com.
The first contest will begin Tuesday, November 4th at 4PM.
Prizes for November are in conjunction with my post Reading Material For the Hockey Fan. I’ll also be releasing a few articles this season, and these books are an important part of the research I’m doing this season. They’re all books worth reading.
NOVEMBER’S PRIZE: You’ll receive (1) an autographed copy of “The Hockey Saint” by Howard Shapiro, (2) a copy of “Boy on Ice: The Life and Death of Derek Boogaard” by John Branch, (3) a copy of “Behind the Iron Curtain: Tears in the Perfect Hockey “Gulag”” by Maxim Starchenko, and (4) a copy of Jordin Tootoo’s new book “All the Way: My Life on Ice.”
{There is a possibility that a couple more of the books will be autographed. I still need to work out the logistics with the other authors.}
